Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of app.reel-analytics.com and related Reel Analytics services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Reel Analytics ("Reel Analytics," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing or using credits or a subscription, submitting or linking video, creating or managing a player profile, viewing analytics, participating in platform features, or otherwise accessing or using the Reel Analytics platform and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of another person, organization, athlete, team, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
2. Eligibility; Minors
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the Platform.
- If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and your parent or legal guardian is responsible for your use of the Platform.
- A parent, guardian, coach, analyst, or partner who creates or manages a profile or submits content for an athlete represents that they have authority to do so and to provide the information and permissions required by these Terms.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it reasonably up to date.
3. Description of the Platform
Reel Analytics is a football recruiting and athletic-performance analytics platform. The Platform allows athletes, parents, analysts, and authorized partners to submit or link game/highlight video, create player profiles, request analysis, and receive objective performance metrics and related outputs. Current analytics may include Max Speed, IGA Score® (In-Game Athleticism), submetrics, rankings, percentiles, graphics, processed video, and other performance information.
The Platform may use automated computer-vision systems together with analyst review and other processing methods. We may add, change, improve, or discontinue metrics, reports, workflows, or features over time.
4. Accounts and Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account.
- You may not share credentials in a way that permits unauthorized access or misrepresents the identity of the account holder.
- You must promptly notify Reel Analytics if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
- We may require email verification, password resets, identity or authority confirmation, or other reasonable security steps.
5. SMS Account Verification
By providing your mobile phone number and requesting a verification code, you consent to receive a one-time transactional SMS security code from Reel Analytics for account verification purposes. Standard message and data rates may apply. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Reel Analytics customer support. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Purchases, Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing
The Platform may offer subscriptions, one-time purchases, credits, analysis packages, or other paid products. Prices, included features, usage allowances, billing periods, and other plan-specific terms are shown at checkout or in the applicable offer and are incorporated into these Terms.
- Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You authorize applicable charges, including recurring subscription charges where disclosed at purchase.
- A recurring subscription continues until canceled in accordance with the cancellation method made available through the Platform or otherwise provided by Reel Analytics. Unless otherwise stated at purchase, cancellation stops future renewal charges and does not retroactively refund an already-started billing period.
- Credits, analysis allowances, promotional credits, and plan benefits may be subject to limits, expiration rules, or other conditions displayed in the applicable plan or offer.
- Except where required by law or expressly stated in a specific offer, amounts paid are non-refundable once the applicable service, credit, or subscription benefit has been provided or made available.
- You are responsible for applicable taxes, charges, and fees associated with your purchase unless Reel Analytics is required to collect them.
7. User Content and License to Operate the Platform
"User Content" includes videos, clips, links, photos, profile information, biographical information, messages, feedback, and other materials that you submit, upload, link, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Platform.
You retain ownership of your User Content. To operate, provide, secure, support, analyze, and improve the Platform, you grant Reel Analytics a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, crop, annotate, analyze, create derivative technical outputs from, display, distribute, and otherwise use User Content as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Platform and related services. This license includes permitting service providers, contractors, analysts, and authorized technology partners to process User Content on our behalf.
This operational license continues for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, satisfy legal obligations, protect rights, and maintain backups, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Name, Image, Likeness, and Promotional Uses
To the extent you submit or authorize public-facing player information, videos, photos, analytics, testimonials, or related materials, you grant Reel Analytics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the athlete’s name, image, likeness, biographical information, school/team information, submitted content, and Reel Analytics-generated metrics in connection with operating and promoting Reel Analytics, including leaderboards, social media, demonstrations, case studies, presentations, and marketing materials.
If the athlete is under 18, the parent or legal guardian providing consent represents that they are authorized to grant these rights. You may contact us to request that we stop future promotional use of specific materials. We will honor valid requests where reasonably practicable, but materials already published, distributed, archived, or incorporated into completed campaigns may not be fully retractable.
9. Public Profiles, Leaderboards, and Sharing
Certain Platform features may display player names, school/team information, position, graduation year, submitted or processed media, athletic metrics, rankings, or related profile information publicly or to other Platform users. Leaderboard inclusion and similar public-display features may be controlled by Platform settings, the analysis workflow, or the permissions associated with the submission.
You are responsible for reviewing the information you choose to make public. Do not include home addresses, private contact details, sensitive personal information, or other information you do not want publicly visible in public-facing fields or content.
10. Analytics, Rankings, and Recruiting Decisions
Reel Analytics uses video-based analysis to estimate athletic performance. Results depend on the quality and characteristics of source footage, camera perspective, field visibility, athlete identification, clipping/annotation, technical conditions, model performance, and other factors. Metrics, rankings, percentiles, projections, and related outputs may contain errors, may change as methods improve, and may not be comparable across every video or context.
Reel Analytics does not guarantee recruiting interest, roster opportunities, scholarships, admissions, offers, NIL opportunities, professional opportunities, or any particular athletic outcome. Coaches, schools, teams, leagues, agents, recruiters, and other third parties make their own independent decisions.
11. Third-Party Services and Content
The Platform may interact with or rely on third-party services and content, including video-hosting or source platforms, cloud infrastructure, payment processors, email providers, analytics/processing vendors, and authorized API partners. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Reel Analytics is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
If you submit a link to or content from a third-party platform (for example, a game/highlight video), you represent that you are authorized to provide that link or content for the requested analysis and related Platform uses.
12. User Representations and Warranties
By using the Platform or submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- you own the User Content or have all rights, permissions, and authority necessary to submit it and grant the rights described in these Terms;
- your User Content and use of the Platform do not violate applicable law, contractual restrictions, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights;
- information you provide is not materially false, deceptive, or misleading;
- where another individual appears in or is identifiable from submitted content, you have any permissions reasonably required for your submission and intended use; and
- if you act for a minor or another person, you have legal authority to provide the applicable consent and permissions.
13. Prohibited Uses
You may not, and may not help another person to:
- use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or unauthorized purposes;
- submit content or personal information you do not have the right to provide;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an athlete, identity, affiliation, result, or source of content;
- attempt to manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent Reel Analytics metrics, rankings, reports, or verification status;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, extract, discover, or reproduce proprietary algorithms, models, software, source code, or non-public technical methods except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent authentication, usage limits, rate limits, credits, subscriptions, security controls, or access restrictions;
- upload malware or interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of the Platform;
- use bots, crawlers, automated collection tools, or high-volume access methods without our written permission; or
- use Platform data, metrics, or content to build or train a competing analytics product or dataset without our written permission.
14. Reel Analytics Intellectual Property
The Platform and all technology, software, models, algorithms, methodologies, interfaces, designs, trademarks, service marks, logos, reports, graphics, compilations, and other materials created or owned by Reel Analytics are protected by intellectual-property and other laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, Reel Analytics and its licensors retain all rights in the Platform.
Subject to these Terms, you may use analytics reports and outputs provided for your player or account for personal, recruiting, evaluation, and non-commercial sharing purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, commercially exploit, systematically redistribute, or falsely alter Reel Analytics verification, reports, or metrics without written permission.
15. Promotions, Challenges, and Contests
Reel Analytics may offer challenges, sweepstakes, contests, referral programs, promotions, prizes, or partner-sponsored opportunities. Additional official rules, eligibility criteria, deadlines, judging or ranking methods, prize terms, publicity terms, and sponsor terms may apply. If specific official rules conflict with these Terms for a promotion, the official rules control for that promotion.
16. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using the Platform, you acknowledge the data practices described in the Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent rather than acknowledgment, we will request that consent separately.
17. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL ANALYTICS, REPORTS, RANKINGS, CONTENT, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." REEL ANALYTICS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
Reel Analytics does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or compatible with every device, video, browser, third-party platform, or use case. The Platform is provided for informational and evaluation purposes and is not medical, legal, academic-admissions, employment, coaching, financial, or other professional advice.
18. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REEL ANALYTICS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, RECRUITING OUTCOME, SCHOLARSHIP, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF REEL ANALYTICS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO REEL ANALYTICS DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reel Analytics and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Reel Analytics’ own unlawful conduct.
20. Suspension and Termination
20.1 By You
You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may request account deletion through available Platform features or by contacting Reel Analytics. Account deletion is subject to data-retention, transaction, legal, security, backup, and other obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
20.2 By Reel Analytics
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or liability, engaged in fraud or abuse, failed to pay amounts due, compromised Platform security, or used the Platform in a way that may harm Reel Analytics, users, partners, or third parties. We may also discontinue accounts or services where reasonably necessary to operate or modify the Platform.
20.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property protections, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and licenses necessary for retained records or previously published materials—will survive.
21. Changes to the Platform or These Terms
We may modify the Platform and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we may provide notice through the Platform, by email, or by updating the "Last Updated" date and otherwise providing notice as required by law. Material changes will apply prospectively from the effective date stated in the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
22. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver
22.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Platform are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent federal law applies.
22.2 Informal Resolution
Before starting arbitration or litigation, you and Reel Analytics agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after written notice describing the dispute and requested relief, unless immediate injunctive relief is reasonably necessary.
22.3 Binding Individual Arbitration
Except for claims eligible for small-claims court and claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief concerning misuse or infringement of intellectual property, privacy, security, or unauthorized access, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies that a court could award, subject to these Terms.
22.4 Class and Representative Action Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND REEL ANALYTICS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR ARBITRATION. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or remedy, that claim or remedy will proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction rather than in class arbitration.
22.5 Arbitration Opt-Out
You may opt out of the arbitration requirement in this Section by sending written notice to support@reel-analytics.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Your notice must identify the account holder and clearly state that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out of arbitration does not affect the rest of these Terms.
23. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms expressly incorporated at purchase or for a specific feature constitute the agreement between you and Reel Analytics regarding the Platform.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. Reel Analytics may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction, or by operation of law.
- No Agency. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, franchise, or agency relationship.
- Electronic Communications. You consent to receive notices and records electronically where permitted by law.
